Situated at “land’s end”, home to the famous rock formation arch of Cabo San Lucas, is the impressive world class dolphin center known as “Cabo Dolphins”. Designed by the award winning Mexican architect, Enrique Norten, this impressive architectural wonder is home to a friendly family of pacific Bottle nose Dolphins. Enrique’s awards include, among many, the 1st “Miss Vander Rohe” in Latin America, and was also named, in 2001, as the advisor to the president of the national Culture and Arts council (CONACULTA) IN Mexico.

The original idea for the Dolphin centre was created by two very popular Mexican companies in Mexico. Xcaret and Xel-Ha, located on the Caribbean coastline in the Riviera Maya, part of the Viadelphi group and Vallarta Adventures, located in Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific coast. Both companies have years of experience working with Dolphin centers and have come together in this joint venture to offer a high level of service in the beautiful coastal destination of Cabo San Lucas. Due to Cabos popularity, location and present growth, this window of opportunity has allowed Cabo Dolphins to offer another unique activity to the area, enabling visitors to experience the Dolphin swims in a very popular destination.

The Dolphin center has been designed with a minimalist theme in mind and hosts a lounge style restaurant offering a variety of light dishes, as well as a modern boutique style store with a variety of gifts and souvenirs. Branded merchandise along with a good quality range of beach and casual clothing complements local arts and crafts from the area. As an added bonus, a professional team of photo and video staff record and photograph all guests during their unique dolphin swim experience. Photos and DVD’s are available for purchase after the swims, with the option to view the footage before purchase.

A young, creative and professional team of staff from all over the globe work together to provide the highest level of service and to ensure maximum enjoyment of the whole Cabo Dolphins experience.

Each of the Dolphins has their own character and personality and are fun to watch and listen to.  Staying with the minimalist idea, these dolphins, between 2 to 4 years of age, are named after famous painters such as Dali, Ende, Frida, Merian, Monet, Renoir and Toulouse.

These state of the art facilities offer educational close up encounters with the dolphins, contributing to a deeper understanding of the anatomy and physiology of these amazing mammals.  After a detailed orientation, guests have the opportunity to become acquainted with the Dolphins through petting, hugs and kisses.  The Dolphins also have the opportunity to demonstrate their endearing ability through personal contact and thrilling close up interaction experiences with guests.
